I keep having the same problem with my bath mats - after just three or four washings, the padding on the bottom starts to flake and come away. Any suggestions for mats that won't do this? Ideally from Amazon, just for convenience, but willing to consider all options for quality. This may seem like an odd one, but do high quality bathroom rugs exist anymore? I have some that have lasted more than ten years with proper care, but I've been shopping for new ones for a new color scheme for the last couple of years and have been unable to find anything that's good quality.
Bathroom mats are magnets for bacteria, dust, dirt and fluids. You can buy like 6 plain white towels for 10 bucks and those are much better and cleaner than having a bathroom mat that probably gets cleaned once a month.
