Good point, IP44 would be suitable for most bathrooms in zone 2 but as should be the most cases a skilled electrician should ascertain if a higher IP rating is needed. For instance a wet room type bathroom would be better fitted with IPx6 as a jet washer or some form of hose pipe would be used for cleaning the room and so on. I've worked out my bathroom light is in Zone2 (as its not 3m above the bottom of the bath). The location also straddles the edge of the bath - small room. This appears to mean that I need at least an IPx4 (usually IP44) light.
